Okay, so let’s not go there, you’re probably most definitely reading this with a yawn in bed with black bags under your eyes. But have no fear, this newsletter is about to transform that yawn into an “OMG” and we for sure promise to keep your eyes wide open – however, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about those black bags – maybe try a concealer or an eye mask from your local pharmacy?
Anyways, there is a really cool quote that goes “Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long you miss them” said by William Arthur Ward, an American writer. This is what our new series: ST Spilling The Tea is all about, bought to you by Scholarship Track.
Scholarship Track is a global community run by students for students with the aim of making opportunities more accessible, so just like how easy sunrises are to miss, you do not have to worry about missing out on opportunities. We bring them straight to your inboxes every Sunday.
Sunday is a chill day – it is the day to feel lazy, to feel good – however not all of us reading this may feel good, we may feel frustrated because maybe our week did not go as planned, we did not get that studying done, we did not pass that entrance exam or we did not make it into a specific program or internship. Rejection is only the beginning, it is never the end. Remember that. You have a choice as to what your ending should be. Rejection is a push from behind, to keep going, learn from your mistakes and to never give up. You will get there! We believe in you!
