HAPPY SWEET 16 FOLKS …
YES IT IS OUR 16TH NEWSLETTER TOGETHER :)
Sweet sixteen celebrations are held in the U.S. to celebrate a teenager’s coming-of-age. This is their entrance to the earliest stage of adulthood, where difficult choices will be presented that will have either lead to a positive or negative outcome. We are no longer spending hours considering: should I have a BigMac and McFlurry or just a BigMac rather we will spend more hours in a deep reflective state considering for example: what career fields should I get into. A sweet sixteen is the key to independence.
If you have already entered this stage, are you worried? Do you feel that you are more worried than ever? Is having too many choices to make one of the scariest and worrisome encounters?
You are not alone. We are here WITH you and FOR you. Take a deep breath and know that you have power over your life. If you chose the wrong path, go ahead with the journey that the wrong path will take you, you may be happy, you may be unhappy, if you are of the latter - make a detour and try again. Do not give up on your journey. Go in the direction you want to be in and open yourself up to the life lessons that may lie ahead. Tesla was not built overnight. It took Elon Musk many tries, many failures, but still he took a detour and kept trying - and look where he is today. There is no harm in trying, learning and re-trying.
You are not alone. We are here WITH you and FOR you.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Take some time to understand why you want to go to Grace Hopper and how that would help/improve you. Also, think about the part of the event you are most looking forward to and find some time to look into the company/organization that is providing the scholarship you are there for. What other community initiatives are they also contributing to? What products do they make?”
