HAPPY SUNDAY
Thank you for joining us – grab a cuppa and let’s chill together!
WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?
That is the real question one must consider everyday of their life.
Living in dysfunctional times, where something like COVID can catch you in a flash, it is important to be selfless. Nobody wants to wear a mask - it is so uncomfortable and such a hassle especially when you want to eat or drink - and such a turnoff since women cannot show off their favorite lipstick shade - how unfair is that!!!
Despite these little issues, we wear the mask for the safety of us and for the safety of others. If a surgeon can wear a mask for 24 hours in theatre all day, you can manage wearing a mask for as little as 30 minutes just to go in and out to buy your groceries - it really is not that bad, however we do find those who refuse to wear a mask, and we do have those moments where we ask ourselves: “what will happen if I just remove the mask for a few minutes”? There is doubt that the mask will ever come back on once it is removed. Wearing a mask is the greatest action of selflessness one makes everyday - wearing a mask has become normality but we have forgotten the deeper meaning behind it. Why are we doing it? Who are we doing it for?
We are building a global community that is finally working together and not against each other. Our world has been through World Wars, 9/11 and now we are in a Pandemic War but this time, what makes all the difference, is how everyone is working together to fight off COVID just by being compliant and wearing a mask. That is all one has to do to save a life. Are we not all superman/superwoman? Capes protect heroes, our masks are our capes protecting us.
Scholarship Track is a student community making opportunities accessible for you. The people in the back, that make it all possible for you, are students with superpowers who dedicate their time and give all their energy and best efforts to help you build the best version of yourself. You are never alone - Scholarship Track is always with you.
WHY ARE WE DOING IT? WHO ARE WE DOING IT FOR?
It is all for YOU.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“I always keep myself away from the saying ‘work smart, don’t work hard’; instead, I hold on to the concept of ‘work smart AND work hard’. Be greedy and strive for both of the elements, and you will definitely land somewhere far ahead from where you are now.”
